Valentina and her family welcomes you to Di Sopra, an authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Alnwick.

Established in 2015 when Valentina took over the restaurant from her uncle Roberto, Di Sopra has been a real favourite for locals and tourists alike. They pride themselves on sourcing the best quality Italian ingredients and local products which combine to deliver a hearty Italian experience in modern surroundings.

In November 2015, they started out as a small, bistro-style restaurant headed by local chef, Richard Sim. Serving fresh, local ingredients from the surrounding harbours and farms, they offer a relaxed dining. Since then they have gone on to expand the restaurant to include a new dog-friendly area, organised a number of private catering events and have been included in both the 2018 and 2019 editions of the Michelin Guide.
